The Golden Rule

We know your pet is a member of your family.  We will treat you and yoru pet as we would wish to be treated.  We will provide you with kind, courteous, informative care for your pet.  ALL members of our hospital staff will treat you and your pet with respect and kindness at all times.

Our most important hospital policy is to treat every patient & every client with respect and compassion while fulfilling our mission to prevent and treat illness, injury and pain in an ethical and compassionate manner. 

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergencies shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delays are inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

For your safety, and that of our other patients, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area.  All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.  Slip style leashes are available for free at the reception desk.
 
For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. A 'drop off' means you could bring your pet at a time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off in the morning or early afternoon so our doctors can examine your pet in between appointments or at a time reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor has completed their assessment of your pet, he/she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis.

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Cash, personal checks with MN Identification, and CareCredit. CareCredit offers 6 Months Interest-Free payment plans and can be applied for at anytime by phone, fax or on-line.  We also accept all pet insurance plans and will assist you in completing your claim.  *Look under LINKS for a few of the more popular pet insurance companies.

We pledge to spend sufficient time to educate you so you can understand your pet's medical condition and make informed decisions about your pet's medical care. Each family is different and each pet is unique; we will get to know you and your pet so we can provide the best care for your family. Our hospital staff will completely explain all recommended treatment and/or surgery and we will provide you with an estimate of fees before any treatment or surgery is performed.
